So, where are the pix and the details of this wondrous event? We in the colonies are awaiting to hear. And for future consideration, why congregate on a Holiday with all the traffic and nonesuch; Does anyone in this group actually have a job? Well, my little brother Carlo does–I guess.

    • Sue B Sue B says:

No I think your little brother is retarded now, like Patti and Richard. And Ludy. And Cousin Sue.

      • avatar Carlo D. Lombardo says:

This is Twue, as Mr Finkle the Lane Tech Woodshop Teacher used to lisp. I have been retarded, retired that is, since April 27. I may have been retarded for a longer period. I got sick and left a wonderful palooza of a party early, disappearing as you showed me years ago in room 119 of the Audubon basement, near the wind tunnel. {Sue B knows where it is.} Judy’s in Madison at a quilting conference until Sunday. I’ll be on a Grand Jury starting Monday. I hope it’s a grand as the hype.

        Love to all,

        O. Wendell Holmes

        • avatar Carlo D. Lombardo says:

Sorry. That was Mr Anthony J. Novak the Chemist who lisped. Just wanted to be correct. And that was Jimmy Gilbert who taught me the medieval art of disappearing. Nobody did it better. I really don’t know what room 119 refers to, but I have seen it so often since 2010 that I figured I’d work it into the post.

          • Sue B Sue B says:

I remember the wind tunnel well but would like to forget about room 119. Not that I was ever there. It was wonderful to see you and your lovely wife! Sorry you had to leave early but take heart: I am the guardian of the Bombay Sapphire.

          • avatar Carlo D. Lombardo says:

Sue, You are indeed the sapphire guardian but I used to be its acolyte. I didn’t mean you ever went to that room, only that only you and la Grunde ever mentioned it in your posts in the past. I am sure it was all in fun and sorry for any unintended innuendoes. You are all my brothers and sisters. It is always a pleasure to see you all!

          • Sue B Sue B says:

Oh believe me I detected no innuendoes. I think room 119 has become our word for “wherever”. All in fun. always.

  2. Sue B Sue B says:

Thanks to Ludy and Mari Guin for once again hosting this phenomenal event! Everything was great! Well maybe not the weather but we didn’t let that stop us, and the party garage is always fun and festive. I loved being with y’all!

  3. avatar Ludy says:

Thanks to all that attended the 2018 Ludypalooza! I had a great time, and I am so happy that we continue to celebrate our goofy relationships. A big thank you to Dicky for giving us a reason to get together, “stirring the pot”, and t shirts that remind us that we are still crazy kids! I love you all.

    • PattiB PattiB says:

Ludypalozza…the legion continues!!! Thanks to everyone for such a fun evening. Thanks to our very own Goofus working toward Gallant status, Richard, for always giving us a reason to celebrate. A special thanks to our fabulous hosts, Ludy and Mari and to Susie Q, always the life of any party…you rock! Love to all who attended and to everyone else, you were missed!

Thanks to Pat and Benker for being the Official Seeley Street Social Organizers. Great job ladies!

    • PattiB PattiB says:

Bill’s sail will take place at 3 PM (Columbia Yacht Club) and we will have dinner at the yacht club around 6 PM. I think if you are going to attend you should RSVP Captain Bartz.

“Not the Last Rodeo” will feature chili and pull pork sandwiches…everybody bring an appetizer or side and remember to bring your favorite “Sassparilla” to wet your whistle…it gets mighty thirsty on the trail.

  5. Sue B Sue B says:

What? No rat on the shirt?

  6. avatar Carlo D. Lombardo says:

My dearest Siouxan, I never knew you could write en français. Je suis beaucoup impresionè. (Not to mention how impressed I am!)

    Happy birthday, darlin.

See you all next month at the Ludester’s palooza.

    Amour pour tout!

    Charles Dominique le Lombard

  7. PattiB PattiB says:

Thought it might be fun to have a chili cook-off for Ludypalooza…we can recreate the campfire scene from Blazing Saddles!

    • Sue B Sue B says:

I’m ashamed to admit I’ve never seen that movie. I’m watching it now. the campfire scene. And it’s great that the Waco Kid will be here. I’ll be The Entire Sioux Nation.
