TIME TO SING (and drink) AGAIN

OUR PATTI DEAR
I checked with Pat before posting this and she said it’s ok to share. After all, we are all friends. Well, at least most of us are. So I just want to make sure everyone knows that Pat is being treated for that pesky lung nodule that turned out to be positive for cancer, currently doing the chemo and radiation thing and who knows, perhaps the next time we see her she will be positively GLOWING. and she might have super powers. She can use our prayers and positive thoughts and we might have to do her drinking for her too, temporarily. (And while you’re shooting those prayers and positive thoughts, perhaps you can send some for my daughter Heidi who’s continuing her treatment for thyroid cancer. Very good prognosis, but you know I’ll feel better when she gets the all clear.) I appreciate it and good night.
The 12 Days of Wheetmas have begun!
This being Chicago the weather is not cooperating and we will not be sailing with Bill on Thurs. Instead it’s howdy-do cocktails and lunch at Miller’s Ale House in Schaumburg! Thurs the 13th at 12:30

Just got a call from Captain Bill who is currently sailing the Intercoastal Waterway and is about 40 miles north of Beaufort SC! Two guys on a sailboat on the Atlantic!

Now that January is over and we have survived the coldest days of my life AND Punxsutawney Phil did not see his shadow, it is time to plan some fun and games! Here goes:
SUN FEB 24th, it’s the Oscars with Sue and Bonnie! Come enjoy movie themed treats at Bon’s 5413 N. Milwaukee. Red Carpet starts at 6pm
